The 4-0 Orange defeated Clemson, also 4-0, last season as a similar underdog (23.5 points) at home. This time around, QB Eric Dungey takes his 9 TD's and 1 INT into Clemson Memorial Stadium.
Tiger's QB Trevor Lawrence also has 9 TD's with 2 INT's.
Clemson has an excellent defense, but SYR is averaging almost 50 points a game so far so it will take a lot to cover 3 plus touchdowns. I don't think Clemson will in this early afternoon ACC matchup.
12:20pm: VIRGINIA VS. NC STATE

UVA's (3-1) defense is riding high after last week's 27-3 win over Louisville, but offensively they are led by QB Bryce Perkins, RB Jordan Ellis and WR Olamide Zaccheaus.
The 3-0 Wolfpack are led by QB Ryan Finley, who has already totaled 1,056 passing yards.
Not much separates these squads in my analysis, so I see the 6.5 points you get with the Cavaliers as a gift. Take it.
3:30pm: BAYLOR VS. OKLAHOMA
CRS spread: Oklahoma -10.49
PICK: BAYLOR +23.5 (-110)
RISK: 2 UNITS
The 3-1 Bears are averaging 36.2 ppg. behind QB Charlie Brewer, but they give up 23.5.
The 4-0 Sooners were nearly upended Saturday in a 28-21 OT thriller vs. Army as a 30 point favorite. QB Kyler Murray is in the Heisman conversation with 1,028 passing yards (68.2%) and 11 TD's. He has also rushed for 240 yards and 3 TD's.
This one will be high-scoring, likely going over the 68.5 current number, but I like Baylor to get their share of points to cover the 3 touchdown plus spread.
7:30pm: OHIO STATE VS. PENN STATE
CRS spread: Penn State -6.11
PICK: PENN STATE +3.5 (-110)
RISK: 2 UNITS
Big Ten heavyweight matchup here with both teams coming in at 4-0. OSU QB Dwayne Haskins already has 16 TD's vs. just 1 INT.
PSU RB Miles Sanders has 495 yards (7.0 yards per carry) and 5 TD's.
I believe this one will be decided with defense and the running game, where I give the Nittany Lions an edge in both. Penn State outright at home.
10:30pm: OREGON VS. CALIFORNIA
CRS spread: California -4.235
PICK: CALIFORNIA +3 (-115)
RISK: 1 UNIT
The 3-1 Ducks lost a heartbreaking 38-31 OT contest Saturday to #7 Stanford. QB Justin Herbert and company will look to return to their winning ways in this one.
The 3-0 Golden Bears have been solid, if not impressive, and rely heavily on defensive line featuring the likes of Luc Bequette, Rusty Becker, Zeandae Johnson, Tevin Paul, and Chris Palmer.
I think Oregon struggles after last weeks devastating loss here on the road in Berkeley. Take CAL and the points.
