5/19 – MLB – Three games on Friday night’s TTF radar

I've identified three opportunities this MLB Friday relative to the betting lines and my TTF formula.  Picks below:

7:05pm: Phillies +110 RH Jeremy Hellickson (4-1, 3.71 ERA) vs. Pirates -121 RH Trevor Williams (2-2, 6.41)

Despite Philadelphia's recent woes (losers of 15 of last 18), they have a fighting chance with Hellickson on the mound.  A slight +0.45 TTF advantage has me backing PHI for a unit vs. PIT and the rookie Williams.

7:10pm: Rangers +129 RH Nick Martinez (0-2, 5.04 ERA) vs. Tigers -143 LH Daniel Norris (2-2, 4.34)

Texas has won 9 in a row yet still find themselves underdogs in this spot.  With a +0.882 TTF advantage, I like them for a unit at plus money.

7:10pm: Angels RH Ricky Nolasco (2-2, 4.34 ERA) vs. Mets RH Jacob deGrom (2-1, 4.07)

Mike Trout (.341 BA, 13 HR, 30 RBI) and the Angels have won 4 straight.  New York has dropped their last 7 games.  LAA is rated +1.344 on the TTF for this one.  2 unit play.

Good luck, players!
