5/14 – Cavaliers at Bulls

8pm - Cleveland at Chicago -2  O/U 193

The Cavs lead 3-2 and hope to put the dagger into the Bulls tonight at the United Center.  After falling behind 2-1, Cleveland has rallied to win the last 2 games, including an 86-84 win in game 4 on Sunday on LeBron James' game winner.  Can LeBron be stopped?

Chicago will have C Pau Gasol back tonight after missing the last 2 with a hamstring.  The Bulls hope his return will help turn things around for them.  G Jimmy Butler will be happy to get additional help in the scoring and rebounding areas after his 29 point 9 rebound effort in game 5 went for naught.  Derrick Rose is "nicked up" but should be good to go this evening.

Cleveland will undoubtedly look for James to carry them, but if they need help then G Kyrie Irving is poised coming off a nice 25 point 5 assist game on Tuesday.  They'll likely need better from C Timofey Mozgov who was 0-7 for 1 point and 6 rebounds in 23 minutes in game 5.

It's always hard to bet against James, but this has been a close, hard fought series so far and I don't see that ending.  I think the home court edge and the return of Gasol will fortify the Bulls and force a game 7.  As much as the Cavs would like to end the series tonight, in the back of their minds they know they will be home for a potential 7th and deciding game.

Chicago 95  Cleveland 91
