4/4 – MLB – Two games to look at for value and profits – TTF

I've identified a pair of MLB games this Tuesday which present the value that I look for when using the TTF.

8:15pm: Cubs -144 RH Jake Arrieta (2016: 18-8, 3.10 ERA) vs. Cardinals +129 RH Adam Wainwright (2016: 13-9, 4.62)

LF Randal Grichuk was the hero for St. Louis on opening night in the Cardinal's 4-3 win.  In that game, five Cubs pitchers yielded 12 hits and 8 walks.

The Cardinals get a +0.238 TTF rating for tonight's match up which is why I recommend them for a unit in this spot.

10:05pm: Angels -117 RH Matt Shoemaker (2016: 9-13, 3.88 ERA) vs. Athletics +106 LH Sean Manaea (2016: 7-9, 3.86)

Kris Davis had 2 home runs last night in Oakland's 4-2 win over the Angels.  Mike Trout homered for the Angels.  It'll be interesting to see how Shoemaker performs with a protective insert in his cap while pitching.  He was hit in the head by a liner last September and suffered a small skull fracture.

I like the A's tonight as a slight underdog with their +0.262 match up rating.  1 unit on Oakland.

Good luck, players!
