4/22 – MLB – Two Saturday evening games added to the TTF-based card

There's one afternoon game where I see significant betting value based on my TTF formula.

2:10pm: Tigers -112 LH Matthew Boyd (2-1, 3.77 ERA) vs. Twins +102 LH Adalberto Mejia (0-1, 4.05)

Detroit (8-8) has now lost 4 in a row.  They may be without Miguel Cabrera as he strained his groin in Friday's game.  Minnesota (8-8) took the series opener 6-3.  Rookie Mejia is looking for his first MLB win.  MIN has a solid +2.074 TTF match up rating here.  One unit play.

Update - 2:45pm - Two evening games added.

7:05pm: Braves +109 LH Jaime Garcia (0-1, 4.67) vs. Phillies -119 RH Jerad Eickhoff (0-1, 2.75)

Atlanta (6-10) has lost 4 in a row despite the hot hitting of Freddie Freeman (.397 BA, 7 HR's).  Philadelphia (7-9) has now won 2 straight after taking last night's series opener 4-3.  Take PHI with a +2.397 TTF advantage here, for one unit.

7:05pm: Red Sox +104 RH Steven Wright (1-1, 8.36 ERA) vs. Orioles -114 LH Jayson Aquino (2016: 0-0, 0.00)

Boston (10-7) was shutout in last night's series opener 2-0.  Baltimore (11-4) sends out 24 year old rookie Aquino to make his first MLB start.  I like The O's to continue their winning ways, and with a +2.189 TTF advantage for this game, it's worth a play.  One unit.

Good luck, players!
