4/16 – MLB – A pair of plays this Easter Sunday – TTF based predictions

I've got two plays this Easter Sunday in MLB.

1:35pm: Phillies +151 RH Jerad Eickhoff (0-1, 1.98 ERA) vs. Nationals -168 LH Gio Gonzalez (1-0, 0.69)

Philadelphia (4-7) is giving Washington (6-5) all they can handle thus far this season.  The Phillies are 3-2 vs. their NL East rival this season after yesterday's 4-2 win.  Eickhoff has pitched well in his 2 starts, but Philadelphia has yet to win for him.  I have PHI rated +0.128 on the TTF for this one.  They're facing a tough starter in Gonzalez, but it's worth a play.  One unit.

4:05pm: Rockies +124 RH Antonio Senzatela (1-0, 1.50 ERA) vs. Giants -137 RH Jeff Samardzija (0-2, 6.75)

Bad news for San Francisco (5-8) as LF Jarrett Parker broke his clavicle in yesterday's game and is out indefinitely.  Colorado (8-5) has taken 2 of the first 3 in this series. The 22 year old Senzatela has had two impressive starts so far.  COL has a +0.942 TTF rating for this matchup.  One unit on the Rockies.

Good luck, players!
