4/4 – MLB – Two totals, one dog on tap for Thursday players

A 1-1 split yesterday, but it was a DET at +170 to make it a profitable day. Thursday, I've got a pair of totals and a live underdog in play. Check out the picks and analysis below:

3:05pm: NEW YORK YANKEES VS. BALTIMORE ORIOLES

Paxton pitched well in his 1st start. Cobb makes his season debut. The Yankees lineup is too decimated to play the over here, let alone back them to win as a favorite.

PICK: UNDER 8 (-105)

RISK: 5.5 UNITS

3:37pm: BOSTON RED SOX VS. OAKLAND ATHLETICS

The Red Sox offense showed signs of life last night, but will face Brett Anderson today who pitched 6 shutout innings in his 1st start. Spacious Oakland Coliseum is a good place to play the under at 8.

PICK: UNDER 8 (+105)

RISK: 5.5 UNITS

10:07pm: TEXAS RANGERS VS. LOS ANGELES ANGELS

Sure, Harvey pitched well in his 1st start (LAA's only win) but I like 4-2 TEX coming off a couple wins over HOU. Especially at plus money.

PICK: TEXAS RANGERS (+127)

RISK: 5.5 UNITS

Good luck, players!
