11/8 – NBA – Wednesday’s Top Play

With five games on tonight's NBA schedule, I'll give the top play as calculated by the Formulated Spread Indicator (FSI).

8:08pm:  LOS ANGELES LAKERS VS. BOSTON CELTICS

FSI rating:  BOS -15.50

PICK: BOSTON CELTICS -9 (-105)

RISK: 1 UNIT

Game notes:  The Celtics (9-2) failed to cover the spread in their 110-107 win over Atlanta on Monday, the first time they didn't during their current 9 game winning streak.  Kyrie Irving leads Boston in scoring (22.3 PPG).

The 5-5 Lakers have won two in a row.  Rookie Lonzo Ball is struggling with his shot (29.9% FG) but is putting up respectable assist and rebounding numbers.

Boston's defense along with the home court advantage will make this a tough outing for the Lakers.  I see no problem backing them for a double-digit victory.

Good luck, players!
