9/23 – NFL – Sunday’s Top Plays

1:00pm:  CINCINNATI BENGALS VS. CAROLINA PANTHERS

CRS spread: Bengals -3.65

PICK: CINCINNATI BENGALS +3 (-119)

RISK: 1 UNIT

QB Andy Dalton leads the 2-0 Bengals into Carolina to face 1-1 Panthers.  CIN WR A.J. Green has caught 4 TD's.

QB Cam Newton and RB Christian McCaffrey lead CAR's offense.

Look for the Bengal's defense to cause at least a couple of turnovers which will give them the edge in this matchup.

1:00pm:  GREEN BAY PACKERS VS. WASHINGTON REDSKINS

CRS spread: Redskins -5.3

PICK: WASHINGTON REDSKINS +3 (-115)

RISK: 2 UNITS

The 1-0-1 Packers salvaged a tie with MIN on Sunday.  QB Aaron Rodgers has thrown 4 TD's without an INT.

WAS QB Alex Smith is doing what he usually does completing 71.1% of his passes without any picks, either.  WR Chris Thompson has caught 19 balls and a TD.

The Redskins defense is giving up just 13.5 ppg. which should give them an edge here at home.

1:00pm:  SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS VS. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

CRS spread: Chiefs -23.5

PICK: KANSAS CITY CHIEFS -6.5 (-119)

RISK: 3 UNITS

49er QB Jimmy Garoppolo is completing just 55.9% of his passes and has thrown 3 picks for 1-1 SF.

Garoppolo's counterpart, Patrick Mahomes, is the talk of the NFL so far (along with Ryan Fitzpatrick) with 10 TD passes in the first 2 games.  Both SF victories.

Andy Reid's Chief's juggernaut will not be derailed this week at home.  Easy cover.

4:25pm:  DALLAS COWBOYS VS. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

CRS spread: Cowboys -3.45

PICK: DALLAS COWBOYS (+103)

RISK: 1 UNIT

The 1-1 Cowboys have found they have a pretty good defense.  QB Dak Prescott is "managing" the offense with just one TD pass, but zero INT's.

SEA, 0-2, causes turnovers with five but have committed five themselves.  QB Russell Wilson has thrown 5 TD's, but has completed just 59.4% of his passes.

CenturyLink Field is a very tough place for visiting teams, but DAL will pull out a win here in a low scoring affair.

8:20pm:  NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS VS. DETROIT LIONS

CRS spread: Patriots -12.425

PICK: NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS -6.5 (-112)

RISK: 2 UNITS

The 1-1 Patriots lost to JAX on Sunday, but QB Tom Brady is still playing well with 5 TD's and just one INT.  TE Rob Gronkowski has been a solid contributor with 9 catches and a TD.

The 0-2 Lions are looking to give Matt Patricia his first NFL head coaching win vs. his former team.  Not going to happen.  Give the points, take the Pat's.

Good luck, players!
