6/4 – Cavs at Warriors

9pm - Cleveland at Golden State -5.5   O/U 204

It's been more than a week since there has been any NBA action, but we finally get things started again tonight with game 1 of the Finals in Oakland.

For the Cavaliers, LeBron James (28.4 ppg) is rested and ready to go in his 5th straight Final's appearance and 6th overall.  PG Kyrie Irving is still battling a sore left knee, but will be in the lineup tonight.  Cleveland is 12-2 SU in these playoffs and 8-6 ATS.

The Warriors are 12-3 SU in these playoffs and are extremely tough at home, losing just 3 times all season long, including playoffs.  They are 29-19-1 ATS at Oracle Arena.  Klay Thompson will be in the lineup after being cleared by the concussion protocol that also affected Stephen Curry.

I like Golden State to win based on their SU record, but they are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 home games.

I also like the total to go Under based on the fact that the total has gone under in 10 of the Warriors last 12 games overall.

As far as an ATS prediction, I will have to take the Warriors despite their poor ATS record as of late.  Simply because I believe they'll win and that they'll be disciplined down the stretch and make their free throws to cover the number.

Golden State 103  Cleveland 95
