5/16 – Lightning at Rangers

1pm - Tampa Bay +125 at N.Y. Rangers -135  O/U 5

The Rangers won an OT game 7 on Wednesday night and will face-off against the Lightning in game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals Saturday afternoon.  At least N.Y. didn't have to travel as they will be home again at MSG.

Tampa Bay finished off the Canadiens on Tuesday night in 6 games.  G Ben Bishop has been spectacular this postseason with a .931 save pct. and 1.81 GAA.  C Tyler Johnson has emerged as a viable compliment to fellow C Steven Stamkos for the NHL's top scoring team.

As good as Bishop has been, the Rangers still get the goaltending edge with Henrik Lundqvist.  Lundqvist has posted an 8-4 record with a .944 save pct. and 1.60 GAA.

I expect a one goal game as the Rangers have had all one goal games in these playoffs.  Tampa Bay's offensive prowess will be tough to contain, but Price and the Canadiens did a pretty good job, so I feel Lundqvist and the Rangers should be able to win game 1.

N.Y. Rangers 2  Tampa Bay 1
