5/11 – Hawks at Wizards

7pm - Atlanta -4.5 at Washington  O/U 197.5

The Wizards continue to work their way through the playoffs with just one loss so far.  Even without PG John Wall, Washington is up 2 games to 1 on the #1 seed Hawks and look to take a commanding 3-1 lead tonight at the Verizon Center.

Atlanta came back bravely in game 3 to tie it after being down by 21 in the 4th quarter.  Wizard's F Paul Pierce ended the Hawks rally with his buzzer beating bank shot.  The fact that Atlanta got down by so much is alarming and coach Budenholzer made a curious decision to sit F Demarre Carroll at the end.  PG Jeff Teague has been unable to take advantage of Wall's absence.

Washington is showing just how much depth they have with players like Nene and Otto Porter stepping up to compliment Pierce, Bradley Beal and Marcin Gortat.  I really find it hard to go against the Wizards at this point, especially at home.  I love getting points here and I also think a ML play is in order here as well.

Washington 105  Atlanta 103
