4/29 – Red Wings at Lightning

7:30pm - Detroit +170 at Tampa Bay -185  O/U 5

The Red Wings let their chance to put the Lightning away at home slip by with a 5-2 loss on Monday in Detroit.  Now it's game 7 and it's in Tampa Bay.

It'll be Mrazek in goal for Detroit and Bishop for Tampa Bay.  Obviously, Bishop had the better game Monday and I expect that trend to continue tonight, especially with Red Wing D Kronwall out on a suspension.  Detroit captain Zetterberg has yet to catch fire and if it doesn't happen tonight, it'll be too late.

The Lightning's captain Stamkos has been in the same holding pattern as Zetterberg.  The game may come down to which captain breaks out of his slump in this decisive 7th game.

I like the Lightning here for several reasons:  the home ice, goalie advantage with Bishop and forward Tyler Johnson picking up the scoring slack for Stamkos.  I believe this will be enough for TB to win and move on.

Tampa Bay 4  Detroit 2
