4/27 – Islanders at Capitals

7:30pm - N.Y. Islanders +125 at Washington -135  O/U 5

Game 7 in this series.  The Islanders hope to end the series the way it began, with a win in Washington.  They'll need big games from their leaders C Tavares and G Halak if there is to be anymore hockey at the Nassau Coliseum.  A power play goal would be nice, too.  They have none this series.

The home standing Capitals hope for another stellar performance from G Holtby and offensive production from LW Ovechkin and company.  Holtby should be solid, but the rest is up in the air.

This one figures to be close and relatively low scoring.  OT is definitely a possibility.  Halak has not been as sharp at the Verizon Center as he has been at home, while Holtby should be dialed-in in front of the home crowd.  I think goaltending will be the difference.

Washington 2  N.Y. Islanders 1
