3/28 – NCAA Tournament

6:09pm - 2 Arizona -1.5 vs. 1 Wisconsin  O/U 131.5   Best Line Here

The Wildcats have won 14 straight, but it wasn't easy Thursday night against Xavier as they had to come from behind late in the 2nd half to finally earn the 68-60 victory over the #6 seed Musketeers.

The Badgers also had to make a 2nd half comeback before pulling out a 79-72 win over the 4th seeded North Carolina Tar Heels.

Arizona could be the beneficiary of excellent free-throw shooting if the game is close.  They made 17-19 Thursday night.  Wisconsin's Sam Dekker had himself a career night against UNC with 23 points and 10 rebounds, giving the Badgers a nice compliment to Frank Kaminsky.

Two excellent teams in an Elite 8 re-match from last season.  Wisconsin took that game 64-63, but I think coach Sean Miller's Wildcat squad turns the tables this year with a closely contested victory.

8:49pm - 3 Notre Dame vs. 1 Kentucky -11  O/U 136.5    Best Line Here

Generally, an ACC squad which is 32-5 would be favored in an Elite 8 game, not if your playing this year's undefeated Kentucky squad, which is the scenario Notre Dame faces tonight.

The Irish looked good in Thursday's 81-70 win vs. Wichita State, but are they good enough to beat the Wildcats?

Kentucky completely dominated West Virginia Thursday in a 78-39 rout.  That game made this one a double digit spread.  The sharp-shooting Irish can pose problems for the Wildcats if they get hot, but Kentucky is so big and such a good defending team that it will be difficult for Notre Dame to do the things they normally do offensively.

But the Irish have players such as Jerian Grant and Zach Auguste that I feel can get their shots off and even if they can't propel ND to the upset, I feel fairly confident the game stays within single digits.

Kentucky 72  Notre Dame 64
